A family holiday turned into a nightmare for a family of four, including two young children, who tragically died after being exposed to a pesticide used to exterminate bed bugs in their hotel room.

The horrifying incident occurred in Istanbul, Turkey, on 11 November. The family, originally from Germany , had travelled to Istanbul for a holiday. They arrived on 9 November, but just two days later they fell ill.

The victims were identified as 27 year old mum Cigdem Bocek, dad Servet, 38, and their children Masal, three, and Kadir Muhammet, six. In desperation, the father hailed a taxi and pleaded with the driver
