Pattalikkad (Palakkad): A CPM worker was found hanging at the Palakkad election committee office. The deceased has been identified as Sivan (40), a resident of Pattalikkad.

He was found dead at the office set up for election-related work in the Pattalikkad ward of Maruthode panchayat.

Sivan had left his home on Sunday morning after having tea. Later, he was found dead at the election committee office.

Malampuzha Police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.

The exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
