The San Francisco 49ers voided the guaranteed money in wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk's contract for 2026 during training camp, multiple outlets reported.

Aiyuk, who has not played since sustaining a knee injury in October 2024, had not been meeting the requirements of his deal, per Friday's reports.

Specifically, the 49ers voided a $24.935 million option bonus that became guaranteed on April 1. That action clears the way for San Francisco to "part ways with him soon," ESPN reported.

It's unclear if Aiyuk will be paid his $1.215 million base salary for 2026 or any of his bonuses for workouts and per-game appearances.
