The brother of Gary 'Mani' Mounfield has posted an emotional message on social media following the unexpected death of the Stone Roses and Primal Scream bassist earlier this week. Greg Mounfield broke the devastating news on Thursday (November 20) via Facebook, stating: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce the sad passing of my brother Gary Mani Mounfield. RIP RKID."

He added in a subsequent comment: "Reunited with his beautiful wife Imelda."
