Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with Max Verstappen now within sight of the summit with only two races remaining

Max Verstappen's victory at Sunday's Las Vegas Grand Prix has become even more lucrative after Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were retroactively disqualified from the race . Norris started the showdown 24 points ahead of McLaren team-mate Piastri in the drivers' standings, with Verstappen trailing by another 25 points in third.

Red Bull ace Verstappen narrowed the gap on Norris to 42 points after edging out the Brit for the top spot in Vegas, where Piastri finished fourth. However, the Dutchman has now drawn level with Piastri in second place due to McLaren's double disqualification, leaving Norris 24 points ahe
