It’s derby day as Arsenal welcome arch-rivals Tottenham to the Emirates this afternoon.

Spurs have been unable to lay a glove on the Gunners lately – Arsenal have won the last three of these meetings on the bounce, eager to inflict more pain on the old enemy today.

You have to go back to May 2022 for Tottenham’s last win – their only triumph in the last nine derbies.

But there is a gaping hole in the Arsenal defence Spurs will feel they can exploit today. Gabriel Magalhaes , a fearsome presence at both ends of the pitch for Mikel Arteta ’s side this season, is facing at least a month out with question marks also hanging over other key personnel ahead of kick-off.
