The Pittsburgh Steelers have revealed the status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin discussed Rodgers’ status with CBS Sports’ Evan Washburn prior to the game at Soldier Field Sunday morning.
Tomlin told Washburn that Rodgers will not play Sunday, and that quarterback Mason Rudolph will get the start against Chicago.
Rodgers suffered a broken bone in his left wrist last week in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, and was questionable to play against the Bears Sunday after being limited in practice this week.
He has had a great career against Chicago, posting a 24-5 record with 64 touchdown passes against the Bears, but he won’t get a chance to add to those totals on Sunday at Soldier Field.
