Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday held a productive meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, reaffirming the strong bilateral ties between India and Canada.
“We appreciated the significant momentum in our bilateral ties since our earlier meeting held during the G7 Summit hosted by Canada,” PM Modi said in a post on handle X, highlighting the positive outcome of the meeting. The two leaders agreed to further advance their relations in areas like trade, investment, technology, and innovation, energy, and education.
