The Cleveland Browns will have their third starting quarterback of the 2025 NFL season when Shedeur Sanders takes the field in Week 12 versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Bailey Zappe will be the backup for the Browns due to Dillon Gabriel’s concussion.
Sanders may not be able to change the future for Cleveland, but he is preparing as if his first start could be his last, while Browns fans (mostly) want him to be successful, while also focused on 2026 NFL draft order-related games.
Sanders replaced Deshaun Watson as the big-name quarterback with the Browns, but Watson is still around the team. According to multiple reports, starting with Mary Kay Cabot, Watson will travel with the team for the first time this season as support for Cleveland’s new starter:
