Michigan’s football team defeated Maryland 45-20 on Saturday – its second-most lopsided victory of the season.

However, Pro Football Focus doesn’t view the win as convincing at the score indicates. The 18 th -ranked Wolverines (9-2, 7-1 Big Ten) received an overall grade of 71.6 from PFF – its third-lowest game score of the season. An average grade is between 60-69.

Michigan was in control the entire second half, and with a large lead in the fourth quarter, played several backups down the stretch. It outgained the Terrapins (4-7, 1-7) 443 yards to 347 and didn’t commit a turnover after having five last week against Northwestern.
