Yoplait drinkable yogurt products are being recalled in Canada due to potential contamination with plastic pieces. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced the recall, which affects 18 different flavors of Yoplait’s YOP drinkable yogurt. The affected products include popular flavors such as blueberry, vanilla, strawberry, and mermaid blackberry starfruit.
The recall includes 200 milliliter bottles, which may be sold individually or in packs of six, 12, or 15. The best-before dates for the recalled items extend up to and including January 12, 2026. Some products in the 12 and 15 packs have specific dates that include “03JAN6AY.”
Consumers are advised not to consume, serve, sell, or share any of the recalled yogurt drinks. The CFIA recommends that individuals check their homes for these products. If found, they should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
As of now, there have been no reported injuries linked to the consumption of these products. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may result in additional recalls. The agency is also ensuring that the recalled items are being removed from store shelves.
Consumers are urged to stay informed and follow safety guidelines regarding the recalled yogurt drinks to prevent any potential health risks.
