The CIF Southern Section has released the schedule for this coming week’s championship football games.

Eight championships will be decided Friday night, and the other eight finals will be contested Saturday.

Seven of the 32 finalists are IE Varsity schools, including three programs making their first finals appearance.

Centennial has advanced to the section finals for the 13th time. The Huskies have a chance to avenge their only loss of the season when they face Santa Margarita for the Division 1 title Friday at Rose Bowl Stadium.

Cornerstone Christian is the other Inland team playing Friday. The Crusaders have reached the finals for the first time and face Flintridge Prep for the 8-Person, Division 1 championship at Murrieta Mesa High School.
