FRONT ROYAL — A festive new event is coming to town this holiday season.

The Warren County Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with Reaching Out Now to offer the North Pole Lights — a decorated, lighted walking trail — from Dec. 7-14.

The trail will be set up along an existing path behind Reaching Out Now’s Raymond E. Santmyers Student Union and Activity Center, between Fantasyland Park and Happy Creek, said organizers Tiffany Walker, director of the Parks and Recreation Department, and Samantha Barber, founder of Reaching Out Now (RON).

The inaugural light experience will launch during RON’s second annual holiday party on Dec. 7 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7.
