2MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Musician, songwriter, and actor Steven Van Zandt — known to millions as “Little Steven” from Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and for his role as Silvio Dante on The Sopranos — turned 75 on Saturday, celebrating more than five decades of influence in American rock and popular culture.

Born November 22, 1950, in Winthrop, Massachusetts, and raised in Middletown Township, New Jersey, Van Zandt rose from the Jersey Shore music scene to international acclaim as one of rock’s most recognizable figures.
