McFarland Police honor Officer Ryan Copeland a decade after his passing

MADISON, (WKOW) — Sunday marks 10 years since Officer Ryan Copeland lost his life in the line of duty.

The Madison community is pausing to honor his bravery and the lasting impact he made.

In a facebook post the McFarland Police Department wrote,

" We honor his courage, service, and the impact he made on our department, K-9 unit, community, and country. Not a day goes by that we don’t remember his dedication and the sacrifices he-and his family-made."

The community is encouraged to reflect on Copeland's legacy and continue his commitment to service.
