On Friday afternoon, Mike Vrabel said he knew his team’s fortuitous health wouldn’t last forever.

However, the Patriots suffered more injuries than expected during a bad luck first half at Cincinnati, as four important players missed time.

Rookie guard Jared Wilson left on the opening drive with an ankle injury, tackle Morgan Moses departed with an illness, All-Pro special teamer Brenden Schooler left with an ankle injury, and defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga was sidelined briefly with an unspecified injury.

Moses and Tonga returned, while Wilson and Schooler were both still out at halftime.

Last week, Milton Williams became the first starter that New England placed on injured reserve all season, and Vrabel acknowledged the run of good health likely wasn’t sustainable.
