Wing Commander Afshan on Sunday (November 23) paid last respects to her husband Wing Commander Namansh Syal, who lost his life in the LCA Tejas crash in Dubai on November 21.

A Tejas fighter jet of the Indian Air Force crashed in a ball of fire on November 21 during an aerial display at the Dubai Air Show killing the lone pilot. This is the second accident involving the indigenous multi-role Light Combat Aircraft in less than two years.

Wg Cdr Syal was in his mid-30s and hailed from Himachal Pradesh.
