SAN ANTONIO — A 32-year-old mother is fighting for her life after she was run over and left in the parking lot of a Military Drive apartment complex earlier this month, family members told KENS 5.
Alexandra Rodriguez was found unconscious on the afternoon of Nov. 8 during rush hour. Police said she was discovered in the parking lot of the complex, and her family believes she was walking home from the parking lot when she was struck. Tire marks were found on her lower back, relatives said.
Rodriguez suffered two skull fractures and remains in a medically induced coma.
“Yesterday I talked to [the] brain doctor. He said I just have to have some patience,” her mother, Annette Cardenas, told KENS 5. “Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday. She was so looking forward to it.”
