LAS VEGAS — Prime Time is in the house for his son’s starting debut.
Deion Sanders, the NFL Hall of Famer, is at Allegiant Stadium today for Shedeur Sanders’ first NFL start here today against the Raiders.
Deion, who coached Shedeur from Pee Wee football through his two years at Colorado, made a Sanders-style flashy entrance in a white cowboy hat with plenty of bling around his neck, including a diamond-studded cross and a diamond-encrusted whistle with his former NFL number 21 on it.
Father and son embraced in the tunnel before pre-game warmups, away from most of the cameras. Deion then stood on the sidelines for awhile before heading to his seats.
He contemplated coming during the week, and decided it was the right thing to do.
“You don’t want to be his distraction,” Deion said told
