Strictly Come Dancing is set for a shake-up with a brand new challenge being introduced.

Host Claudia Winkleman shared the news during Sunday night's (November 23) instalment of the BBC ballroom show , telling the contestants: "I'm just going to say this out loud, the competition is ramping up. Strictly has a brand new challenge."

It was then revealed that next week, for the first time, the celebs on the show will face the Instant Dance challenge. It means they will randomly pick a dance style that they will have to perform on the spot.

"At this crucial point in the competition it's a chance to gain extra marks and turn the leaderboard on its head," it was then explained in a voiceover.
