INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis holiday tradition is back again for its 63rd year .

Downtown Indianapolis will welcome thousands of spectators for the Circle of Lights presented by IBEW 481 on Friday, Nov. 28.

Local law enforcement have plans to keep Hoosiers safe, and they're asking the same from attendees.

"As with any large-scale public event, we encourage all attendees to have a plan and be aware of your surroundings," said Marion County Emergency Management Director Jacob Spence. "Designate a meeting place if you are separated from your family or others in your party. For those with children, make sure they know to identify a safe person, such as someone in public safety or an event volunteer."
