Cloudy and chilly weather across Maryland early Tuesday morning gave way to scattered showers.

Another round of showers are likely early Wednesday morning before clouds give way to breaks of sunshine and a mild Wednesday afternoon. Similar to Tuesday evening, a few areas of rain Wednesday morning could be heavy here in Maryland.

A few showers possible Tuesday evening

We picked up a quarter to half inch of rain from Tuesday evening's showers. The rest of tonight into early Wednesday will be misty or foggy with a few sprinkles here or there.
