Chris Hemsworth is opening up about a difficult chapter for his family.

In the Thor star’s new documentary, Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip to Remember , h e shared t hat his and brothers Liam Hems worth and Luke Hemsworth 's father Craig Hemsworth was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, and detailed where the family stands amid the health battle.

“It’s so easy to take our parents for granted,” Chris— dad to kids India Rose , 13, and twins Sasha and Tristan , 11, with wife Elsa Pataky —said in t he documentary, which dropped on Disney+ and Hulu Nov. 24, per US Weekly . “I feel I’ve been so busy I haven’t spent as much time with my dad as I would want to and there was the diagnosis.”
