OMAHA — The City of Omaha is hosting a free interactive lecture and panel discussion Dec. 2 to explore why people and workers are leaving Nebraska’s most populated city for opportunities elsewhere and to help find solutions to “brain drain.”
The “Talent x Place: Building a City Where People Want to Stay” event is organized by “We Make Omaha” — a public engagement effort for the City of Omaha’s new, 20-year comprehensive plan for growth and development.
The comprehensive plan is expected to be complete next year, replacing Omaha’s current Master Plan tha
