RAPID CITY, S.D. — The 44th statue was added to Rapid City’s Walk of Presidents on Tuesday morning. A statue of President Donald Trump was placed on the corner of Sixth Street and Saint Joseph Street in front of the Hyatt Place. The space was previously occupied by a statue of Andrew Johnson that was moved during the construction of Block 5.

After being displayed indoors since May of 2025, crews permanently installed the statue of Trump in the space previously occupied by Johnson.

The Trump statue was unveiled May 3 and spent its first summer in Rapid City's Visitor Center.
