Heavy rain and snowstorms this week could disrupt Thanksgiving travel across much of the country. But it’s far less likely in Rhode Island where rain is expected to be lighter .
According to the National Weather Service Norton office, a warm front will arrive to the region Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing rain. But the amounts should only be a couple inches: “nothing overly hazardous” for travel, NWS Norton Meteorologist Andrew Loconto said.
That warm front will give way to cold and blustery winds for Thanksgiving, he said. Here’s what to know.
