Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk and CEO of Turning Point USA, addressed the controversy surrounding her recent viral embrace with Vice President JD Vance as she declared her late husband’s organization is gearing up to throw its support behind his potential presidential campaign in 2028.

“It’s in the works,” Kirk said during an appearance on “The Megyn Kelly Show” on Monday.

“This was a thing my husband was very direct about,” she continued. “One of the last few conversations we had was how intentional he was about supporting JD for ’28.”
