The city approved adopting a resolution revoking the OPRA (Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act) exemption certificate for the DPRE-Foster School Acquisition Ludington LLC located at 507 E. Foster Street for failure to rehabilitate the property in the authorized time.
Councilor-at-large John Terzano explained why the city was was pulling this OPRA.
“The developer has not done anything with the property. The city has worked with with them to try to provide them ways where they could raise some money, as well as the county, through the economic development program.,” Terzano said. “They have worked wit the developer extensively in that process and quite frankly for the last couple months they have basically gone silent.”
