After spending less than a season with the Detroit Lions, the team has cut cornerback Arthur Maulet in a surprise move. The secondary issues for the Lions continue to haunt them since their NFC Divisional Round disaster last year against the Washington Commanders. Despite signing a few promising secondary men in an attempt to boost the corps, DJ Reed and other talent on the roster haven't been able to stay healthy. Oddly, the Lions did indeed cut Maulet ever since signing him originally to the practice squad while dealing with injuries to Terrion Arnold and Khalil Dorsey as well.
