BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WNDU) - The Pokagon Band and its Four Winds Casinos distributed 300 Thanksgiving food boxes on Tuesday afternoon at the Pillar Center in Benton Harbor.

An event worker at the Pillar Center said the distribution reflects the organization’s commitment to community support throughout the year.

“It’s just the pride we take in our community giving program, and we do a lot of this — not only just Thanksgiving, for all holidays and just throughout the year. So, any opportunity that we can make someone’s Thanksgiving special, we will definitely take that opportunity up,” the worker said.

The event worker said distributions like Tuesday’s make them proud to live in the Michiana community.
