SCHENECTADY — Brian Forget expected to be retired and spending time with his family in Florida in his golden years, but the Tuesday that at age 71 he’s still working with no plans to retire after his pension evaporated when the plan shuttered in 2019.
Forget is one of more than 1,100 St. Clare’s pensioners , with the state and AARP Foundation suing seven defendants, including the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany, St. Clare’s Corp. and five individuals in Schenectady County Supreme Court.
