For the second time in three years, the Hillcrest Knights ventured west for a state championship duel with the Bishop Kelly Knights.

For the second time in three years, Bishop Kelly took the throne. This time, with a raucous crowd at its back and an undefeated season on the line, Bishop Kelly won 31-14.
