LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Hundreds of county employees, staff and local residents attended an early Thanksgiving luncheon at the Webb County Sheriff’s Office, with attendees forming a line around the block.

County officials described the gathering as an opportunity to pause, give back and express gratitude to the employees who make everyday county services possible.

The Webb County Sheriff, Martin Cuellar emphasized his hope that every guest would feel recognized and appreciated. Those who attended received a complete Thanksgiving meal, including dessert.
