PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The latest University of New Hampshire poll shows that most Rhode Islanders are concerned about the prices of everyday goods and energy costs.
The survey was made up of 711 Rhode Island residents, who filled out the survey between Nov. 13 and 17.
According to the Ocean State Poll, “a majority” of Rhode Island residents think that prices on everyday goods has increased over the past year and will continue to increase.
The poll also states the over 75% of residents are worried about the cost of heating their home this winter.
Additionally, 40% of residents are expecting to spend less on holiday shopping, and 25% said they don’t have enough money to spend.
