Of all the Thanksgiving traditions I grew up with, the biggest one, the most obvious one...the no-brainer, if you will, has been the big meal. In a Family Feud survey, that would probably be the number one answer.

But times and people change. Schedules change. Sometimes it becomes difficult to have a gazillion people over to the house on the fourth Thursday of Thanksgiving. Sometimes you have to have Thanksgiving on another day to accommodate everyone. We've encountered that in our shrinking family, which was never very big to begin with.
