LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A Liberty County Commissioner was arrested and charged with obstruction early Sunday morning.
According to Hinesville Police, officers responded to the HUTA Dispensary and Lounge in reference to an on-view overcrowding violation. A headcount determined that the maximum occupancy limit of 25 people had been exceeded.
Justin Frasier, the business owner, was informed of the violation and the citations that would be issued to him.
Before the citations could be issued, Mr. Frasier refused to leave and locked the doors, denying officers entry.
Officers eventually made contact with Mr. Frasier. He was arrested and charged with obstruction in addition to the overcrowding violation.
