The Brockport Police Department says an October enforcement detail uncovered widespread underage drinking violations at Mason’s Pub and Pizzeria on Clinton Street, prompting the business to surrender its liquor license and close.
According to police, a multi-agency operation in October - conducted with the New York State Liquor Authority and Department of Motor Vehicles - followed months of investigative work into alleged license violations.
Officers reported finding 85 patrons under age 21 inside the establishment, many without any form of identification. Thirty-five people were issued a total of 37 citations related to the possession or use of fraudulent IDs.
