Swansea City slipped to defeat in the opening game of the Vitor Matos era, as Derby County emerged with a 2-1 win at the Swansea .com Stadium.

Goals from Joe Ward and Lars-Jorgen Salvesen put the visitors in control, before Ethan Galbraith pulled a goal back late on.
