Rachel Reeves has pledged to make "fair and necessary choices" ahead of announcing her 2025 Budget on Wednesday.
The Chancellor is adamant that she will utilise her second Budget on November 26 to introduce measures to combat the cost-of-living crisis , as the Government aims to retain the support of backbench Labour MPs.
However, Ms Reeves has also committed to reducing the costs of Government debt, and is likely to take steps to increase the margin above her borrowing plans , in an effort to maintain fiscal credibility.
"Today I will take the fair and necessary choices to deliver on our promise of change," Ms Reeves stated ahead of the Budget.
She continued: "I will not return Britain
