FRANKLIN, Va. — A shooting in the city of Franklin sent two people to the hospital for treatment of their injuries on Tuesday evening.
The Franklin Police Department received notification at about 6:49 p.m. that someone had been shot and was being taken to Bon Secours Southampton Medical Center in a private vehicle, according to a press release from the Franklin Police Department.
Officers arriving at the hospital found two people, both with gunshot wounds in their left arms. Investigation revealed the shooting occurred at Dorchester Square Apartments, the press release stated.
