The Knicks remain at a Landry Shamet standstill.
They did not have an update on his shoulder injury on Tuesday other than ruling him out for Wednesday’s clash against the Hornets in Charlotte with what is labeled a shoulder sprain.
Shamet appeared to sprain his right shoulder during the loss to the Magic in Orlando on Saturday.
He exited and did not return that game and subsequently missed the win over the Nets in Brooklyn on Monday.
It is the same shoulder he dislocated just over a year ago.
At that time, he opted to rehab it instead of undergoing surgery and returned a few months later.
But that left the shoulder more susceptible to reinjury, which happened on Saturday.
If he opts for surgery this time, it would likely end his season. And if he decides to rehab, it would leave
