BATAVIA, Ohio —
A Batavia Township man has been arrested after investigators said he broke into a home and ran after being seen.
According to the Clermont County Sheriff's Office, it happened around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday on Wolfer Drive. Advertisement
Deputies responded to a 911 call after a caller reported seeing a man inside the home who ran toward State Route 125.
Using surveillance cameras, deputies identified the suspect as Joshua Bonomini, 45, who was arrested on Monday.
Investigators said Bonomini was seen inside a business removing the hoodie worn during the burglary and later got a ride back home.
Bonomini has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft. The sheriff’s office said he admitted to being intoxicated during the alleged incident.
