CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M volleyball program has secured its 32nd NCAA Division II postseason berth, earning the fourth seed in the South Central Regional Championship scheduled for Dec. 4-6 in Denver, Colorado.

The tournament will take place at the Auraria Event Center with the Lady Buffs joining seven other teams competing for a national championship berth.

West Texas A&M’s three decades of postseason appearances place the program among Division II’s elite, trailing only Tampa with 39 appearances, New Haven with 37, Central Missouri with 36 and Florida Southern with 34 trips.

The Lady Buffs bring a strong tournament pedigree to Denver with a 66-27 record in NCAA postseason play (.695%).
