PHOENIX (AZFamily) — U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is asking airline passengers to dress up this holiday season, to try and restore “courtesy and class” to air travel.
The request is part of a new civility campaign rolled out by the Trump administration called “ The Golden Age of Travel Starts With You ,” aimed at making flying more enjoyable for all passengers.
“Let’s try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport. I think that’s positive,” said Duffy.
Arizona’s Family went to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to ask passengers what’s important to them when they pick out a wardrobe for flying.
“Comfort,” answered Julie Bower.
“I try to dress comfortably,” added Nate Borum.
