Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves will deliver her second Budget today, Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Protests are expected as the Budget could create huge new expenses for some groups - with farmers among those heading to Westminster today.
The Budget has been predicted to include changes to benefits, income tax thresholds, home taxes, the child benefit cap and ISAs. There will also be announcements on the sugar tax on drinks, minimum wage, train fares and prescription charges, as well as the cost of electric vehicle ownership.
The Chancellor is believed to be preparing a range of 'smaller' changes designed to boost UK finances - including a tourism tax.
