Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is ready to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump and discuss "sensitive points".

He made the comments while speaking via video link before the members of the Coalition of the Willing on Tuesday.

"We firmly believe – security decisions about Ukraine must include Ukraine," said Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy also called for a "doable framework for the deployment of the Reassurance Force Ukraine."

Trump revealed his plan for ending the nearly four-year war last week, setting off the latest flurry of diplomacy among American, European, Russian and Ukrainian officials.

Trump’s plan heavily favored Russia, calling on Ukraine to cede territory and barring the eastern European nation from joining NATO.

The latest phase of talks came on Tuesday, when U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll met with Russian officials in the United Arab Emirates.

President Donald Trump said Tuesday his plan to end the war in Ukraine "is making progress” and he’s sending envoy Steve Witkoff, and potentially his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin next week.
