A devastating fire broke out at Hung Cheong Court in the Tai Po district of Hong Kong, leaving residents trapped and in distress. The blaze erupted rapidly, producing thick smoke that raised alarms among the local community. Emergency services received multiple reports as the situation escalated.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the building’s exterior scaffolding engulfed in flames. They quickly deployed two hoses and two teams equipped with breathing apparatus to combat the inferno. The fire's intensity posed significant challenges for the responders.

At least eight individuals suffered injuries in the incident. Among them, three were found unconscious, while the remaining five were conscious but required hospital treatment. Two of the injured sustained severe burns, underscoring the fire's severity.
