Happy Thanksgiving Eve to all who celebrate.
As households across the United States make final tweaks to recipes and last-minute grocery runs ahead of their big Thanksgiving feasts, the NFL is preparing another three-game buffet for the national holiday.
For a 20th straight season, there will be three Thanksgiving games throughout the day on Nov. 27. A pair are divisional clashes with playoff implications. The third is a battle between "America's Team" and what some could call the last great American (football) dynasty.
A trio of games in three different slots means the NFL has fans covered for every portion of their Thanksgiving: from preparing the food, to eating their meal and, finally, dozing on the couch post-feast.
Here's everything to know about the NFL's three Thanksgiving games in 2025, including kickoff times, channels and how to watch:

NFL Thanksgiving history
The league's tradition of football on Thanksgiving dates back to 1920. Back then, the NFL was still called the American Professional Football Association, and the date of Thanksgiving hadn't yet been written into federal law.
In the more than 100 years since – and excepting the 1941 through 1944 period during World War II – there has been at least one football game on Thanksgiving annually. The league has held three games on Thanksgiving every year since 2006.
What teams always play on Thanksgiving?
The Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys play on Thanksgiving every year.
Detroit began its tradition of playing on the holiday in 1934, except for the 1939-1945 seasons due to the Great Depression and World War II.
The Cowboys adopted their Thanksgiving tradition in 1966 and have also played on the fourth Thursday of November every year besides 1975 and 1977.
Detroit Lions Thanksgiving record
The Lions are 38-45-2 in Thanksgiving games.
Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving record
