PERU — Long before the first interstates were built, members of the famous Zacchini family drove from Alaska to Mexico and everywhere in between in their world-famous, homemade human-cannonball truck.
From packed arenas to county fairgrounds, the Italian family wowed crowds as two performers climbed into the barrel before blasting out, one after the other, soaring more than 200 feet as fast as a car on the highway.
