SWAT team ends tense standoff in Highland involving a child

HIGHLAND — The Northwest Regional SWAT Team was called in Tuesday evening to take a 35-year-old man into custody after he allegedly threatened a woman with guns and held up for a period in a residence with a 5-year-old child, according to Highland police.
